These Terms of Service govern your use of Babypool. By using the service you agree to follow and be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance

Please read these terms carefully before using Babypool.

2. Use of Service

You agree to use Babypool only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms.

3. Account Responsibility

Keep your account credentials secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use indicates acceptance of changes.

5. Third-Party Services

Babypool uses third-party service providers for analytics, authentication, infrastructure, and payment processing. Use of those features may be subject to third-party terms.

6. Free Plan Promotional Limits

Free plan usage limits may be offered as limited-time promotions (for example, up to 6 booking requests or sittings per calendar month). Promotional limits may change for new users after the promotion period.

7. Grandfathered Users

Users who joined before the promotional cutoff date may keep grandfathered free-plan limits attached to their account, subject to continued compliance with these terms.

8. Plan Limits and Service Configuration Changes

We may update plan limits, feature caps, usage thresholds, and related service configuration at any time, including booking-request and sitting limits. These changes may apply immediately or on a stated effective date. We may provide notice in-product, by email, or by updating these Terms. Your continued use of Babypool after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated limits and configuration.

9. Platform Role; No Childcare Services

Babypool is a software platform that helps parents and sitters connect, communicate, schedule, and manage bookings. Babypool does not provide babysitting, childcare, supervision, transportation, medical care, or in-home services, and Babypool is not a party to any agreement between a parent and a sitter. Parents and sitters are solely responsible for evaluating, selecting, instructing, supervising, and engaging with one another, and for determining whether any childcare arrangement is appropriate, lawful, and safe.

10. Assumption of Risk; Limitation of Responsibility

By using Babypool, you acknowledge that childcare and babysitting arrangements involve inherent risks, including risks of personal injury, illness, property damage, theft, misconduct, emergencies, misunderstandings, scheduling failures, and other losses or damages. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Babypool disclaims responsibility and shall not be liable for acts, omissions, conduct, performance, non-performance, negligence, or other events arising out of or relating to babysitting or childcare services arranged through the platform, including incidents that occur before, during, or after a booking. Users remain solely responsible for their own decisions, safety precautions, background screening, insurance, emergency planning, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
